Who we are

RepDup is a web design and maintenance service operated by Tyler Midkiff, a sole proprietor based in the United States. We build and maintain websites for local service businesses nationwide. When we say "RepDup," "we," or "us" in this policy, that's who we mean.

Questions about this policy can be sent to tyler@repdup.com.

What information we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what our website collects automatically.

Information you give us: When you contact us by phone or email, we may collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, and any details about your business you share. If you become a client, we may also collect billing information, photos, business content, and other materials needed to build your website.

Information collected automatically: When you visit our website, standard server logs may capture your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you visit. We do not currently use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking cookies.

Google Fonts: Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. Google may collect your IP address and other technical data as part of that request. See Google's privacy policy for details.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with potential clients
  • Build, maintain, and update websites for clients
  • Process payments and manage client accounts
  • Fulfill any legal or contractual obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.

We may share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our business, such as payment processors and email providers. These providers are only given access to information necessary to perform their specific function and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RepDup, our clients, or others.

How long we keep your information

We keep contact and project information for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide services, handle disputes, and meet legal or tax obligations. If you are not a client and request that we delete your information, we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.

We do not sell personal information, so there is no opt-out needed for data sales.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at tyler@repdup.com. We will respond within 45 days.

Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of our website or services after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If we make a material change, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active clients directly.
